In the shoulder caps CCM uses Ultra Light U-Foam for pro-level protection (Sr. Only). The material used makes them incredibly light with an extremely durable EPP core. In the sternum and spine, hard HDPE plastic combine with high-density PE foam for lightweight high caliber protection. Additionally, CCM has added a neck comfort pad for added support. 
The Jetspeed FT4 uses a laminated soft feel liner that absorbs less sweat to stay light while providing instant long-lasting comfort. The vented Flex Motion base jacket provides a layer of PE foam for reliable protection that remains surprisingly lightweight. For bicep protection CCM uses PE molded caps with the ability to adjust the length so the protection is customized to you. 
Along with the Molded PE foam used for torso protection, CCM also includes a removable belly pad. The removable pad allows for more personalization based on your choice of fit and comfort.
